The unconscious casualty, non-breathing casualty (including Provide CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator on adults & children) and a casualty with breathing difficulties Casualty Assessment, Emergency Action Plan, First aid team work and multiple casualties, Triage Principles of First Aid, Legal Issues, Infection Control, Phoning the Ambulance Abdominal Injuries,Allergic Reaction and Anaphylaxis Awareness, Asthma Bandages & Slings, Bites and Stings, Bleeding, Burns Cardiac Arrest, CPR & Defibrillation,Childhood Illnesses, Chest Injuries, Choking, Crush Injuries Diabetes, Drowning, Drug Overdose Electric Shock, Eye Injures, Faint, Fractures Head Injuries, Heart Problems, Hyperthermia, Hypothermia Motor Vehicle Accidents, Panic Attacks, Poisoning Seizures, Febrile Seizures, Shock, Spinal Injuries, Strains & Sprains, Stroke Record Keeping, Stress Management Pre-requisites Participants must be over 14 years and have basic English speaking and writing skills in order to undertake this course and complete the assessments.
